This does not mean fasting is incompatible with training. It means it requires more deliberate management of what gets eaten in the available window, and the simplified appeal of just skipping meals until noon tends to get complicated when protein targets and training demands are factored in. Eat something meaningful before training sessions rather than training fully fasted if the goal involves strength or significant output. Have a proper meal with protein in the hours after training. Spread protein across the day rather than eating most of it at one meal. Keep overall meal timing consistent enough from day to day that hunger is predictable rather than erratic.
Meal prep that makes the week easier handles most of the practical side of this. When food is already prepared, eating at reasonable times becomes the default rather than a daily effort. The timing takes care of itself when the food is ready.
Beyond those habits, the complexity that gets added to meal timing in most fitness advice is solving problems that most people have not yet encountered. Get the basics in place, train consistently, eat enough of the right things, and the precise timing of when each gram of protein arrives stops being a meaningful variable.
